2006
Sawa(Vo.) started Solo acoustic live in Tokyo. While she was looking for a band member, she met HIZMI (Takeharu Ishimoto) and she decided to join the project for the sound track of the game, 'The World Ends with You' which came out from SQEX in next year.
2007
After the first TWEWY project, HIZMI and Sawa start creating original tracks, and start sharing their tracks on line as 'SAWA'. During this year, the street teams of 'SAWA' had spontaneously rose in several countries; Japan, USA, Australia, France and Canada.
2008
'SAWA' released their first album '333'. They've got interviewed by several radio stations; J-Wave (Japan), WVCR (USA) etc… . They also start preparing for the band activities which started early next year.
2009
'SAWA' started live activities in Tokyo. In October, they released 1st EP, 'Figure and Shadow' on iTunes Store, but because of the disagreements this band broke up by the end of this year.
2010
Thanks to the kindness and generous message from fans and friends, Vocal(Sawa) and Guitarist(Zizi) of the 'SAWA' re-started the activity with the new band name, 'Sawas Phool' on the April-fool's day. The word, 'Phool' came from the Hindi word, and it means 'flower'. Since the pronunciation of this word was the same with the English word, 'fool', they added this word to point out the humor; to enjoy sound in full, and not to be stereotypical and judge by first impression.
Their main concept had been engraved to them selves after numerous shows together with people from many different back grounds, 'No border, No boundary'. Not only Rock, but they've also deliver in acoustic sets, and their live shows were very emotional and sometimes very gently as if they expose their 2nd concept, 'No music, No life'. They've got chance to be interviewed by American Pod Cast program, 'The Fan FM'. In December, they won the 'Japan Rock' contest.
2011
On 10th April, they left Tokyo for the first oversea tour in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. On the next morning, they saw a news that huge earthquake and tsunami in Thohok area. Until the very last moment, member's were checking their family and friends safety. The show was great and it was very touching to hear the phrasing messages from new meeting fans and friends in the first visiting countries. Right after coming back to Tokyo, the member couldn't resist themselves from doing whatever they can to help people in Tohoku and started up a project, 'Soul x Action Project' to collect and brought supplies to the small village in Sendai (Tohoku). The project was launched very sudden, but many people in Hiroshima - Osaka - Nagoya - Tokyo had joined. And also thanks to the great from the media (FM Radio stations,News Papers,Local Free Paper…etc) they could bring 2 trucks full of supplies and foods to this small village. After this project, they kept performing in many fundraising events together with musician and artist friends to express, 'Even if we have nothing in our hands to share, there still are some ways that we can be the other's support'. Together with friend Musician, Dancer, Painter, Caligraphy arrest, DJ, Fashion Model and also together with artist from Tohoku, they planned and managed a charity event, 'Hanbunko Project' and managed it on July 31th.
In October, a new member Tanny(Bs.) had joined.
